What do dogs dream?


I don't know.

But this dog certainly dreams of his master. And you're this dog. You're a dog. And your master is gone. Gone. Can you believe it? You know you certainly can't. And you're hungry, and he's supposed to feed you. But he didn't. Cause he's gone.


In this game, you must now feed yourself, declare independence, and search for your master on your own! Get food, then get out of home in search of your master!

This game was pretty good. Sticking to colliders was frustrating, if you change the default physics material to something with no friction, you'll be perfect. Besides that it was really fun.

Honestly, that sticking to colliders was something I should have fixed. I was kind of brushing it off as a non-necessity. I will definitely, 100% remove sticky colliders in all my future games from now on!

First off, Love it! Second, I noticed you made this in Unity, and as someone who's getting into that myself, I would like to give you some pointers: 

a) to avoid getting, "stuck" on obstacles, make a physics material 2D and put the friction to zero. Apply this to the colliders of the obstacles, and you will slip instead of stick!

b) Some objects should be able to be passed through, in one direction. (like jumping onto the couch) I suggest using an area effector with the colliders. I'm new to that, so I'm not 100% on how it works, but it's the little things that make it feel that much more polished!

Again, these are just suggestions and other than those things, I loved this game! Keep it up

Hey, thanks for your input! Your second suggestion was something I was trying to look into for a while but still haven't figured it out. I never really bothered with it because platforming wasn't the main focus but I do agree that it would really even out the game and make it feel better.

I will definitely work on it the next time I make something with platformer aspects!

Too short. I thought I was going to fight enemies to save my master but the game ended when I opened the door. :/

Heya, that is a understandable criticism as I also agree the game itself is a bit short. I never managed to work on too much on the game so that's unfortunate in that right. Regardless, hope you  enjoyed the ultra-short experience while you were here!
