LD 47 results released!
As you may have noticed, Press The Button was made for the Ludum Dare 47, made entirely in 3 days with everyone done on my own. Overall, the game placed alright, but I am definitely not 100% satisfied about it entirely. Even the categories where I am looking to do well on did not place exceptionally well whatsoever.
Nevertheless, the game itself was definitely very fun to make and I have enjoyed the entire process very much so bringing such a game to life!
My highest placements were Mood, and Graphics. I am at least glad that the categories where I put the most effort on are equally ranked as high to reflect the effort put in. If anything, I'd love to improve mood even more so I'd have to revisit how I do the artwork to reflect this much better.
My audio and fun are ranked very dangerously low - even for an idle game. I don't particularly worry much about innovation but I would definitely have to look into balancing my time better to include more audio and music, and integrating fun much better.
Moving forward
I'd love to start working on more action-y games now in the future as I want to dabble into my favourite game genres of rhythm, action and high-stakes, blood, sweat and tears combat! I will be joining much more jams, stretching my fingers until I feel ready to make my own long-term project!
